HISTORY

Merricks -’Konoona’ sketch: home to Val and Sue Hellicar part of a newspaper report on the auction sale of the house in the later twentieth century.
The first farmhouse on the property dated from the 1860s when John Caldwell, a selector, built a wattle and daub dwelling there.
Val Hellicar owned the property in 1916 when he married Sue Oswin.
