HISTORY

Balnarring 2010. New History Room in the extended Balnarring Hall. The Balnarring and District Historical Society sought a ‘home’ for ten years after its foundation. In 2000 it was allocated space in the ‘Old Post Office’ which then functioned as the Balnarring Senior Citizens rooms. In 2010 the Balnarring Hall was renovated and an additional wing added. In this wing a purposely fitted out room was given to BDHS. A ‘compactus’ and new computer were purchased. This facilitated the sorting of the Society’s collection facilitating the preservation and catloguing of all items and cosequently the location of items in allocated spaces. Balnarring ,
