Ern and Annie Stone bought the Junction General Store (Balnarring Store) in 1908. Their sons Vern, Bill also had businesses in Balnarring for a time. Son Ron involved himself in promoting and sellin the Mair subdivision in Balnarring East, now Somers. His son Ray also became a businessman in Somers and served that community with dedication and twas affectionately titled ‘Mayor of Somers’.
