HISTORYBalnarring 1999. Ryszard Pichler and his wife Gertude were post World War 1939 -1945 migrants to Australia. They lived for a time in the Somers Migrant Hostel and settled in Balnarring. They farmed poultry and built a Chicken ‘Take Away’ shop with petrol sales in Frankston Flinders Road .
