HISTORY

Three Boonwurrung Aboriginal small flaked stone tools found in 1946 on Balnarring Beach in the remnants of a shell midden at he base of the northern side of Palmers Hill.
The tools may have been used as possum hide scrapers or as tools to prise shellfish open.

DESCRIPTION

Small triangular shaped stone tools made of of greyish white flint or chert.
