Balnarring, 1950. Gertrud and Ryszard Pichler on board migrant ship ‘Fairsea’, on their way to Australia and Somers Migrant Hostel.
They settled in Balnarring in Frankston Flinders Road and established a chicken farm and an early version of cooked chicken take-away business.
