HISTORYSomers 14/11/1994. Beach erosion record. An array of thirty eight images as commissioned by the Hastings Shire for investigation of what remedial work should be done after the damaging erosion event of that year.

P2445.4 - Access at Coora Court - OK at present.

P2445.21 - South Beach Road. No access, stone wall requires steps.
P2445.22 - Area behind wall at Belvedere Road looking west.
P2445.23 - Steps at bottom at the Promenade 2+ metre drop to beach. New steps would require to be approximately 3 to 4 metres long.
P2445.24 - Bottom of path to Alexandra Avenue approximately 4 metre drop to beach. Steps will be required if access is to be maintained.
P2445.25 - Bottom of second steps between shopd and Haven Street.
P2445.26 - Steps area between shops and Haven Street.
P2445.27 - Top of bank on access between shops and Haven Street.
P2445.28 - Steps area between shops and Haven Street.
P2445.29 - Area behind wall looking east.
P2445.30 - Somers shop access looking south to water. New track could go off to left behind trees.
P2445.31 - Top of cliff access off Haven Street. 4 metre cliff, no access at present.
P2445.32 - Top of path, Alexandra Avenue.
P2445.33 - Looking up track from beach at Somers shop access.
P2445.34 - Somers shops area looking back up from beach to shops.
P2445.35 - Top of second steps between shops and Haven Street.
P2445.36 - Bottom of bank between shops and Haven Street.
P2445.37 - Top of access to beach at Somers shop. 3 to 4 metre drop to beach looking down onto beach, Suggest run track beside trees for approximately 30 metres to area where beach and top of bank is on a 1 metre drop.
