HISTORYThis photo post card was taken at the official opening of the extension of Baxter to Stony Point Railway line 10th September 1889. On reverse side of card shows postage of 1d. and year of posting as “07”. The addressee is “Master G. Myers, Cromwell Blgs, Bourke St, City” The message is “Bootle Park, Bittern. 8 Nov 07. Dear Graham, do you recognise this? I hope you are enjoying yourself. I remain, your loving brother R. Myers”. Also signed at bottom of card “W.P. Myers”.
