HISTORYRose series, The ; no. P. 3082. One copy of the postcard has the name “Ed Mawson” on the back, and the other has the name “Jean Peters” on the back. Main Street was formerly Pike Street, and changed its name to High Street in 1998.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows Main Street, Hastings, looking west. Hastings Hall is in the left foreground and the hotel is on the right. Several cars are parked on either side of the road, there is a man walking beside the hall and another crossing the street. Stevens Bros. store is on the corner of Main Street and Salmon Street.
