HISTORYOn the front of the image is written in biro “Hastings Centenary Procession 1960”. On the back of the image is written in biro “Hastings Centenary Procession A E Perrott”
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a white Holden panel van, presumably in the main street, with the words “Perrott & Co. Butchers” on the side of the van. There is one man, the driver, in the van. The van is towing a trailer carrying a small mock house with the words “F.G. Perrott family butcher est 1883” written on the side. Behind the van is a small timber shop with the words “New & used furniture” on the side of the verandah. Another small timber building can be partially seen behind the trailer, with a man and a woman standing in front.
