HISTORY

The two men in the photograph are Jack White and George Slocombe Snr. Written on the back of the photograph in blue pen on a white sticker is “Jack White born 1880 Geo Slocombe Snr. of Tyabb” Also written on the back in blue pen is “J Whit G Slocombe”. This photograph is part of the White Family Collection (No 84).

DESCRIPTION

This image shows two men standing on a path posing for a photo. Both men are very well dressed in three-piece suits, although the man on the left has removed his coat. Both men are wearing hats. They are standing in front of a wire fence with tall shrubs and a brick wall behind them. There is a white sticker on the front top right-hand side of the mounting which reads: “White 84 Family No”.
