HISTORY

The photograph shows a 1927 Chevrolet truck bogged at Hastings Pier in the 1920s. Written on the back of the photograph in blue pen is: “Bogged at Hastings Jetty Circa 1920”. “Return to A.E.Perrott” which has been crossed out.

DESCRIPTION

The image shows a Chevrolet truck on the side of the road leaning badly to the left. A man can be seen to the left of the photograph near a pole. There is a fishing shed plus another shed in the background. Some men and a cart can be seen near the fishing shed.
