HISTORY

This is one of the Rose series of postcards of Hastings and the churches of the area. The building is facing Victoria Street, next to the Ambulance. This is the re-modelled Catholic Church in the 1960s. On the back of the postcard is printed “Post Card A Real Photograph Produced in Australia”.

DESCRIPTION

This is an image of the Catholic Church in Hastings. The church is a weatherboard building in pristine condition with lawn all around. Large trees are in the background. Printing on the bottom of the postcard is as follows: “The Rose Series P.10760 The Catholic Church, Hastings. Vic”.
