HISTORY

This photo is of the Methodist Church at Hastings. In 1871 they received a government grant of one and a half acres on the corner of Hodgins and Hastings Road (now called Marine Parade) at Hastings. On 24/09/1871 the building was built and this photograph shows the present brick building. Printed on the back of the photo is: “Hastings Methodist Church Hodgins Rd Hastings”.
