HISTORY

This is a photograph of Gilbert Haywood. He is the brother of the late Dr Arthur Haywood. Written on the back of the postcard in pencil is: “Gilbert Haywood”. Printed on the back is: “Post Card Correspondence Address only Kodak Australia”.

DESCRIPTION

This image is a portrait of a young man standing. He wearing a dark blazer with a handkerchief in the pocket, white shirt and striped tie and light coloured trousers. His right hand is in his trouser pocket and his left hand is holding a cigarette. He has a smile on his face and his hair is short and neatly parted on the left-hand side. Part of a building on the left-hand side of the photograph.
