HISTORYThis is a photograph of Mr T.H. (Tom) Barclay. A large version of this has been framed and was presented to him for his service to the Hastings Public Hall. The inscription at the bottom of the mounting reads:” Mr T.H. Barclay...President...Hastings Public Hall Presented to Mr. T.H. Barclay by the Committee of the Hastings Hall, on completion of 28 years Service (13 years as president) in appreciation of valuable service.” Written on the back of the photograph in black pen is: “Tom Barclay”. Stamped on the back is: “Copyright not for reproduction Herald Sun feature service Melbourne Australia”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a portrait of a middle-aged man taken from the chest up. He is wearing a three-piece suit with a striped tie and white shirt. He has a badge on his left lapel. He has thick eyebrows and thinning hair.
