HISTORYThis post card of King Edward VII, along with H M Queen Alexander, was very popular with Australian families. Written on the back in blue biro is: “A.W. Peterson, Crib Point Motors”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a colourized, embossed portrait of King Edward VII wearing a red uniform with medals and decorations. A wide sash is across his chest from shoulder to waist. The embossed sections on his uniform have been picked out with glitter. Printed on the mounting at the bottom is “H M KING EDWARD VII.”. In tiny red printing at the bottom left-hand side of the photograph is: “J B & Co” and on the right-hand side is the number “761”. In tiny printing on the right-hand bottom of the mount is “W.S. Stuart Richmond”.
