All are wearing long sleeved jackets and dark trousers, except the man on the right, who is wearing light coloured trousers. One man is wearing a hat and one a cap. There are wooden rails on either side of the jetty. Boats can be seen in the far background. HISTORY

These are the Chinese crew members of the boat “Paringa”, taken at Stony Point in December, 1934. The original photo was taken by Arthur Paterson. Written in blue biro on the back of one of the copies is: “Chinese crew members “Paringa” 1934”.
