HISTORY

This photograph shows the Danish oil tanker “Nina Borthen” transferring petrol to the “Vincas” off Stony Point in May, 1933. This is one of a number of photographs on display done by Arthur Woodley.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows two ships, sitting side by side in the water. The ship on the left-hand side of the photograph has a large funnel and is much larger than the one on the right. Printed below the photograph is: “Danish oil Tanker NINA BORTHEN transferring petrol to VINCAS. off Stony Point May 1933.”.
