HISTORYThese pigs are part of Perrott’s slaughter yards. They are referred to as “Porkers in the making”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image is of a group of about 15 pigs feeding in a fenced-in paddock. There is a post and wire netting fence at the rear and a rough timber and wire fence on the right-hand side of the photograph. Another fence can be seen in the background and a building is on the left-hand side in the distance. Trees line the far back fence and the side fence. There are logs lying along the middle fence. Written at the bottom of the photograph is: “Group of Irish Canaries”.
