HISTORYThis image is of the grand final Hastings Football Team of 1930. The photograph was cut out of the Weekly Times newspaper on 06/09/1930. The Hastings team was defeated by Mornington. It has been laminated onto cardboard. The names of the team are printed at the bottom of the photograph. Printed on the back of the cardboard is: “Hastings Football Club 1930 Grand Final Team. Mornington defeated Hastings. Donated by Joy Coleman Photo from Weekly Times 6-9-1930”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a football team posing for a photograph. There are seven men standing in the back row, seven men sitting in the middle row and five men sitting on the ground in the front row. All are wearing long socks, white shorts and shirts with either long sleeves or sleeveless. Printed at the top on the mounting is: “Hastings Football Team. 1930 and printed on the mounting at the bottom is: Hastings Team:-Back row, left to right: L. Mentiplay, G. Perrott, G. Mirabella, E.
