HISTORYThis group of people include councillors from the Shire of Hastings Council. They are on a cruise down the Maribyrnong River.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a large group of people standing and sitting on the deck of a boat beside a jetty. Twenty-one people are standing and twelve people are sitting. A crew member is standing at the rail of the boat on the far right-hand side of the photograph. Everyone is very well dressed and all are wearing coats. There is a flag flying at the back and large ropes are at the front of the boat. Small boats, buildings and a crane can be seen in the background. Two of the buildings are displaying large signs on their roofs - ‘Laconia’ and ‘Johnsons Tyne Foundry’.
