HISTORYThis is the All Saints Church in Tyabb. This church was opened on 14/02/1914. The history of All Saints can be found in the book ‘Western Port Pioneers & Preachers’ by Valda Cole, on page 144/145. A photo of an unknown child is glued to the back of the mounting.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a church with a large section of grass in the foreground. A large tree is to the right of the church and other trees can be seen in the background. The building is timber with an iron roof. There is a band of darker boards around the bottom of the building. Three windows can be seen on the right-hand side of the narthex and three windows can be seen at the front of the building. Thin strips of timber decorate the triangular roof line above the windows. Four air vents are along the top of the roof. Part of a post and wire fence can be seen behind the church on the right-hand side. Written on the bottom of the mounting is: “All Saints Tyabb”. The mounting is brown paper.
