HISTORYThis is a photo of William Haddock. He was a Gunner in the Hastings 40th Battery, Victorian Rangers. He was Bill Haddockâs father. This information is written on the back of the photograph.
DESCRIPTIONThis photograph has been torn in half and only the top half remains. The image is of a man in army uniform standing in front of a large tree. His jacket has a high dark collar and dark cuffs on the sleeves. It has two large top pockets. He is wearing a wide belt with a large metal buckle. There are trees and shrubs in the background. There is a piece worn away on the large tree trunk on the left-hand side of the image.
