HISTORYThis is one of a series of aerial photographs of Hastings taken by the Hastings Shire Council in July 1966. The trees in the foreground are orchards. The photograph shows reclamation of the land by tipping in front of the Shire Offices in Marine Parade, Hastings. Written on the back of the photograph in pencil is: “John Wilson A202”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image is an aerial view of a town. Rows of threes are at the bottom of the photograph, the town in the centre and the water at the top section. Oil tanks can be seen at the top left-hand corner of the photograph and a jetty on the far right-hand side.
