HISTORY

This is the BP Oil Refinery under construction at Crib Point. It is one of a series of photos of the refinery. It is bordered by Woolleys Road and Disney Street. The jetty is also under construction. A sticker on the back of the photograph reads: “Aerial view of progress at Westernport Refinery taken 14th August, 1965”. The photographers studio particulars are also printed on the back of the photograph.
