HISTORY

This is a photograph of the Haddock family standing in an orchard of apple trees. The Haddock brothers are, left to right, Alf, Joe and Harold and their sister is Amelia (Minnie). The Haddock family owned at least two orchards in Hastings. One was on the south side of Watts Road (now the Frankston-Flinders Road) where Haddock Street is now. Another orchard was in Graydens Road, northside, west of the Frankston-Flinders Road. Written on the back of the photograph in blue biro is: “Back Row l-r Alf,Joe,Harold Minnie”.
