HISTORY

This is a photograph of William John Haddock picking fruit at his orchard in Watts Road, Hastings. He is the son of Joseph and Mary Haddock of Graydens Road, Hastings. He died in 1944 aged 72 years, one week after his sister Amelia (Minnie) died. Watts Road is now the Frankston-Flinders Road. Written on the back of the photograph in blue biro is: “William John Haddock son of Mary & Joseph Haddock of Graydens Rd. Hastings in his own apple orchard in Watts Rd. Hastings Died 1944 aged 72 1 week after sister Minnie”.

DESCRIPTION
