HISTORY

This soldier is Les Haddock from Hastings, who was in the AIF in the Second World War. He is the son of Joseph Haddock and a cousin of William Haddock Snr.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a portrait of a soldier taken from the waist up. He is wearing an army uniform with slouch hat. A rising sun badge is pinned to his jacket collar and a regimental patch is sewn to the sleeve. He has a slight smile on his face and he is looking away from the camera.
