This group of Hastings school children with the Minister for Local Government, the Honourable Murray Porter, MLA, is celebrating the Proclamation of the Shire of Hastings on 06/11/1910. Written in blue biro on the back of the photograph is: “Minister of Local Govt. the Hon. Murray Porter MLA with Primary School Chr”.
