HISTORYThis is Tom Barclay with a cart load of boxes containing apples. The man on the left is George and the man on the right is Mr Barclay Senior. Printed on the back is: “Post Card Correspondence Address only”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a four-wheeled cart drawn by two horses standing between a road and a large shed. The cart is loaded with boxes. One man is sitting on top of the boxes with the reins in his hands. Another man is standing at the front of the horses. He has a white beard and a pipe in his mouth. One man is standing beside the back wheel while another man is behind the cart. Part of a fence with a letter box can be seen on the left-hand side of the image with a large tree behind that. A bushy tree is on the far right-hand side of the image.
