HISTORY

This is Tom Barclay with a cart load of boxes containing apples. The man on the left is George and the man on the right is Mr Barclay Senior. Printed on the back is: “st Card ence Address o”. Written in pencil is: “Tom Barclay George Mr B Senior”.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a four-wheeled cart drawn by two horses and loaded with boxes. A man is sitting on top of the boxes holding the reins. Another man with a white beard and a pipe in his mouth is standing at the front of the horses. A third man is standing beside the back wheel of the cart. Part of a shed can be seen behind them. This is an identical image to P233 except that it has been cut down around all sides.
