HISTORYThis photograph is of Miss Amelia Haddock, known as Minnie. She lived in Graydens Road, Hastings. She died in 1944 aged about 70 years. She is a sister to William Haddock, Bill Haddock’s aunt. Written on the back in blue biro is: “Miss Amelia Haddock known as Minnie Graydens Rd Hastings Died 1944 aged about 70”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a woman standing with her right arm resting on the back of a wooden chair. She is wearing a long sleeved dress with a waistband with a very high embroided neckline. There are six buttons on the bodice of her dress and there is a small brooch at the neck. She is wearing a ring on the middle finger of her left hand and her hair is swept up at the back. She is holding a piece of paper in her right hand. The photographers details are on the left-hand side.
