HISTORY

This photograph was taken in front of the church gates at Ivy Haddock’s wedding. Ivy is the sister of William Haddock. The man on the left is Alfred Haddock and the man sitting is Harold Haddock. The man at the back is George Walker. George Walker was in his 90s and living in Hastings in 1999. Written on the back of the photograph in blue ink is: “Taken at Ivy’s Wedding Church Gates April 2nd 1956”. Also written in blue biro is: “Alf Haddock front Harold Haddock George Walker”. The number 69 is stamped in black.
