HISTORYThe men in the fishing boats are John Mirabella and Bill Patience. They are fishing in the Western Port at Hastings. Their names are written on the back of both copies. The smaller copy measures: L10 x W15. The original photograph belongs to Del Mirabella.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows two small fishing boats and part of a third one in the foreground. There is a man fishing in the larger boat. He is standing underneath a shade covering. There are white railings around the front of his boat and an anchor can be seen handing over the edge. Another man is standing fishing in the smaller boat. He is wearing a hat and is half turned around to look at the camera. Fishing gear can be seen in the bottom of his boat. Only a small section of the boat in the foreground can be seen. Land can be seen in the background.
