HISTORY

This is a photograph of Jack Mirabella, in his boat at Hastings. The fish is a King Fish and weighs 58 lbs. This original photograph was owned by Dell Mirabella. Written on the back in blue pen is: “Jack Mirabella Hastings King Fish 58 lbs fifty eight”. The copy measures L15 x W10.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a fisherman standing in a wooden boat holding a very large fish and smiling for the camera. He is wearing a dark coloured pullover and long rubber boots up to his thighs. He has a hat pulled down over his eyes. The fish stretches from his chest to the floor of the boat. Ropes can be seen in the boat and the water is behind him.
