He is wearing a lighter coloured striped three-piece suit with white shirt and tie. He has a small badge pinned to the left lapel of his coat. He has little hair.

HISTORY

This is a presentation of a portrait of Mr James David Hodgins by his son-in-law Mr Jack Edwards to Mr Thomas Barclay. Mr Hodgins was President of the Hastings Reading Room and Library (known as the Hastings Hall) Committee of Management. Mr Hodgins was succeeded by Mr Barclay. This information is glued to the back of the photograph.
