HISTORYThis is the Australian crew of Baltimore aircraft photographed at operational training unit at Gianaclis, Egypt in 1944. The men are: left to right: Richard Bird (Dicky Bird), wireless air gunner; Frank Payne, Pilot; Les Holder, W.A.G. and Bill Mott, navigator. This information is written on the back of the photograph in blue ink. Also written on the back is: “Mr. L. Holder 11 Wyldwood Cl. Somerville 3912 Phone 776915”.
