This photograph is of Hastings identities, names unknown, taken in the Hastings area.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a family group sitting in bush land enjoying an picnic. The party consists of a boy on the left, two woman and a man on the right of the photograph. The boy is wearing a jacket over a white shirt, long shorts and a hat. The two ladies are very well dressed with high lace collars and their hair done up. They each wear a brooch at the base of their necks. They both have a tea cup in their right hands and the woman on the right has a sandwich in her other hand. The man is dressed in a three piece suit, tie, white shirt and a hat. Food is spread out on the ground in front of them. Bracken fern and tall trees are behind them.
