HISTORYThis is a photograph of John Mirabella taken at aged 16 years sitting on the Hastings Pier.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a young man sitting on a wooden box mending a fishing net. A large pile of fishing nets are in front of him and more nets are hanging over a rail behind him. He is sitting inside rail tracks which run off into the distance. He is dressed in a long-sleeved white shirt, woollen vest and long pants tucked into dark socks and white shoes. He has a short back and sides hair cut with a mop of hair on the top.
