HISTORYThis is a photograph of John Mirabella taken at aged 16 years sitting on the Hastings Pier.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a young man sitting on a wooden box mending a fishing net. A large pile of fishing nets are in front of him and more nets are hanging over the rail further along the pier. He is sitting inside rail tracks which run off into the distance. He is dressed in a long-sleeved white shirt, woollen vest and long pants tucked into dark socks and white shoes. He has a short back and sides hair cut with a mop of hair on the top.
