HISTORYNo history is known on this event, but the group are members of the Barclay and Bryant families. The photograph was sent as a Christmas greeting. Written on the back in grey ink is: To Tom & Ruby with very “Best Wishes” for “Xmas” & The “New Year” love from Fred & Rose Xmas 1972”. Also printed on the back in blue biro are the names of those identified in the photograph. Back row, left to right: ....?...., Owen Bryant, Tom Barclay, ...?..., Fred B. DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a group of eleven elderly men and woman posing for a photograph. There are six men standing in the back row and five women sitting on chairs in front of them. Everyone is very well dressed. The men all have three-piece suits, white shirts and ties and the women all have a brooch pinned to their plain coloured dresses. A little girl can be seen sitting on a chair to the left of the group and four other people can be partly seen standing. A material screen is behind the men.
