HISTORY

This is Mr Ingamells, the first teacher of Hastings State School and some of his students. Written on the back in blue biro is: “Mr Ingamells 1882”. The photographers details are also stamped on the back.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows a man and six children posing for a photograph in front of a brick wall. A vent can be seen on the right-hand side of the building, near ground level. The man is dressed in a three-piece suit and has a moustache. There is a girl and two boys in the back row and three boys in the front row. They are all wearing coats and boots.
