HISTORYThis old shed is on Churchill Island, near Phillip Island, in the Western Port. This shed was originally on the foreshore at Hastings and was once used by Cobb & Co. Mr Amos, who was either the Lord Mayor or ex Lord Mayor of Melbourne arranged for the transfer to Churchill Island.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows an old wooden shed standing in a grassy paddock. The shed is in very bad condition. A lot of the boards are missing as well as a sheet of iron from the roof. Large pine trees can be seen behind the shed and some small trees can be seen closer to the shoreline on the left-hand side of the image. Grass is in the foreground and water in the background.
