Several trees, including a tall pine is on the right-hand side.

HISTORY

This is one in a series of photographs taken of the Hastings Battery and the Armstrong Gun. Written on the back is: “Royal Australian Artillery Gun drawn by bullocks - for Boer War Military Detachment Hastings (Vic) circa 1899-1902”.
