HISTORYThis is a gathering of the Peterson family. The elderly woman is Annie Peterson, nee McCorkell and the woman behind her is Lily Peterson. Written on the back in pencil is: “Arthur Petersen Lily Petersen Auntie Annie (Margaret)”. Also stamped on the back is: Kodak Print M811”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a group of seven people posing for a photograph. An elderly woman is sitting on a chair. She is wearing a long sleeved dress to the ground. A woman, two men and three young people are standing behind her. They are all wearing party hats. The man on the left is wearing a patterned pullover and the man on the right is wearing a three-piece suit. Two of the girls are wearing knee length dresses. Part of a house and a tank can be seen behind the group. A wagon wheel is leaning against a post and rail fence on the left-hand side of the image. Two large logs are lying on the ground in front of the wheel.
