HISTORYThis is a photograph taken at Stony Point at low tide. The photograph was found amongst the Peterson family photos. Written on the back in blue pen is: “1830” and “Stony Point at low tide”. Stamped on the back is: “H883”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a foreshore at low tide. Two small boats with masts can be seen in the centre of the image. Two small waves can be seen on the right-hand side and sand and seaweed is on the left-hand side of the image. Trees can be seen on an outcrop of land in the far distance on the left-hand side of the image. Low clouds are on the horizon. The edges of the photograph have brown burn stains.
