HISTORYThis photo was taken in Station Street, Somerville, looking north. It was taken opposite the Cool Store. The hotel can be seen in the far distance. The Co-operative Trading Store, later in 1983 McKay’s Store, is on the right.
DESCRIPTIONThe bottom half of this image shows a gravel road with grass on each side. A building can be seen behind a post and rail fence on the right-hand side of the image. Buildings and telegraph poles can be seen in the distance. Part of a fence and building can be seen on the left-hand side of the image with a parked car across the footpath. Tall trees are on either side of the street.
