HISTORYThis building is the Cool Store in Somerville, run by the Fruit-growers Co-op. Printed on a piece of paper in black pen and glued to the back of the photograph is: “The Cool Store”.
DESCRIPTIONThis image shows a large factory-like building behind a post and wire fence. A gravel road is in the foreground and a tree is on the left-hand side of the image. A small light coloured building is in front of the factory. The high section of the factory has several vertical strips and a cross section on the front. Part of a building with tall trees behind it can be seen on the right-hand side of the image.
