HISTORY

This aerial photograph is of the town of Hastings and the Western Port. The designated areas in red and green biro are for cleanup day, organized by the Steetscape Working Party, Ron Leadbetter. The cleanup days were October 13 and October 20, 1996. Sandstone Island can be seen in the Western Port as well as French Island. The Esso complex can be seen at the top left-hand side. Printed on the back in black ink is: “John Bookless 839 335 49 Flinders St Bittern 3918”.

DESCRIPTION

This image shows an aerial photograph of a town, foreshore and bay. Streets, houses and paddocks can be seen. A small island is in the bay and land can be seen in the top right-hand corner of the image. Printed in white on a black border on the left-hand side of the image is: “Hastings area 30-9-85 Oblique”. Areas have been marked out in red and green biro.
